At this year’s GITEX Technology Week, SAP, under the theme “Empathy to Action”, is showcasing its latest advances in artificial intelligence, blockchain, machine learning and Internet-of-Things (IoT).
Particularly in the IoT space, the company is promoting a demo of its Live Airports concept. The solution utilises digital dashboards with analysis of sensor data to help aid in the management of airport trips, conduct intelligent boarding, improve airline security queues, as well as personalise retail shopping within the terminal.
The enterprise technology solution provider is also displaying the latest releases of SAP Leonardo, as well as SAP Blockchain for real estate.
Commenting on his company’s participation at GITEX, Tayfun Topkoc, managing director, SAP UAE and Oman, adds: “At GITEX, SAP and our Training and Development Institute are committed to supporting ambitious global startups and entrepreneurs at the GITEX Future Stars.
“Our Startup Focus program is helping to bring Big Data, predictive, or real-time analytics startups to market. Our Startup Focus program has hosted more than 950 entrepreneurs across the Middle East and North Africa region, and GITEX is a prime global event to engage with more innovators.”
In addition to its IoT and blockchain offerings, SAP is highlighting its progress in artificial intelligence in the cloud and machine learning, while during GITEX Vertical Days conference sessions, SAP experts will participate on discussions related to smart cities and smart manufacturing.
