Hearst Chooses Oracle Cloud to Fuel Transformation

Oracle has announced that Hearst has selected Oracle Cloud to provide its businesses with a common platform to accelerate business growth and global expansion.

Hearst—which  publishes Good Housekeeping, Esquire, Town & Country, Car and Driver, Cosmopolitan, and Elle, among many other titles—intends to streamline, simplify, and standardize business processes across finance, procurement, and HR organizations and provide a better user experience to its employees to help them better communicate and execute their jobs.

The companies say this move is part of a larger strategy to transform Hearst via cloud applications under the company’s digital transformation program, “Project UniFi.”

Hearst’s use of Oracle Cloud will take advantage of integrated Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) CloudOracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud, and Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud solutions to deliver a modern, unified technology platform for accurate and up-to-date insight to drive timely decision making and achieve agility.

After its initial start in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K., the digital transformation program will then extend globally, allowing for incorporation of acquisitions and future growth.
