Leading retailers are striving to co-innovate technological solutions, which are customized as per industry requirements enabling customer to provide seamless integration of systems. Accenture recently associated with SAP to co-innovate next-generation fashion management solution, which aims to take advantage of the technology capabilities of SAP S/4HANA. ETRetail’s Varun Jain caught up with Nachiket Sukhtankar, managing director and lead, technology services for Accenture in India to understand how their new collaboration is going to help the retailers and the retail industry.
Tell us about Accenture and SAP’s collaboration to provide next-generation fashion management to retailers?
Accenture is SAP’s largest global business partner, and the first to be working with SAP creating a complete solution for an industry. For this, we are involved from co-development through co-delivery of these new industry solutions. The first industry solution to be launched under this collaboration (called Project F1) is SAP S/4HANA Retail for fashion management.
The next-generation fashion management solution aims to take advantage of the technology capabilities of SAP S/4HANA, the flexibility of cloud services and Accenture’s deep retail industry knowledge. It is expected to help retailers build omni-channel solutions that manage inventory requirements more easily and effectively, and accelerate time-to-value to enable a customer-centric business.
