Dashing, an Australian printing firm, has partnered with ComiQi to deliver digital signage displays to its retail customers. The company will use ComQi’s EnGage software platform to craft interactive Internet of Things-focused signage solutions, according to a press release.
The software platform is designed to deliver content to screens, kiosks and video walls. It can also connect with IoT devices such as beacons, RFID, NFC, ePOS and others. Dashing selected this platform for its ability to compete in a smart-retail environment, according to the release.
“Together, we bring the domain intelligence of being able to know what those clients want and need,” Stuart Armstrong, president of the Americas for ComQi, said in the release. “Because as you know, there’s a lot of folks saying, ‘Well I’d like to utilize digital signage, but I don’t know how it’s going to be most effective for increasing traffic, increasing conversion, loyalty, driving sales.’ Being able to consolidate clients in such a way that they feel comfortable, with it giving them a return, is very helpful in the sales process.”
